I was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where at a young age I was drawn to all creative activities. My mother and father were gifted with a special ability to draw freehand. I was always in awe of that. To that, my fathers side of the family is of Cherokee heritage and knowing that, my appreciation and fascination for native artwork, dance, song and building has always been a draw. 

 

Throughout my studies, I gravitated towards anything art related and took every opportunity to learn and experiment with as many art mediums and styles as I could. I received technical training in mechanical design.  In 2013, I was fortunate enough to move to Puerto Rico and began experimenting with Caribbean inspired abstracts.  Currently, I reside in South Florida and continue to be inspired by nature, the ocean and the multi-cultural environment of my surroundings. 

 

I have triplet girls who also motivate and inspire me daily to become a better artist.  They too share a passion for art and creativity so they enjoy painting alongside with mommy. I love creating my own portfolio, but I am especially motivated by the challenges that come with commissioned pieces.  Delivering an heirloom piece of art to a client and exceeding their vision is my greatest reward.
